The piercing beauty of the stars
That might illuminate, or even determine our fates
Is no less mortal than peasants and kings
No matter the wonder that it fills our hearts with
Or the majesty it lends to the night sky
Each star is destined to fade away
In an eternal explosion, ripping away the veils
Of no mans visions and beliefs
If only a single heart stops for this loss
Did that star have purpose?
For one in a million shall be grieved by
One in a million
Maybe such a fate is mine too:
Brush away for a lifetimes instant the darkness
Then flicker away, quickly as I came
Forgotten, but never truly gone.
Who can measure the worth of a star, though
Or the meaning of a man?

It perfectly captured the transience and ignorance - not maliciousness, but simple ignorance, that many are regarded with.
A soul burns brighter than a star. Tolkien wrote that while his Elves were immortal, their bodies did eventually burn out - sometimes literally catching aflame, because their souls burned too brightly for the physical shell to house any longer.
We're the same way. You're the same way.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

It's not fun.
A lot of people are feeling lonely. If I could, I'd make a dA quiz asking "Have you been feeling more lonely than usual recently, even if you've been talking more frequently?"
It's annoying.
And, to me, the purpose of something can be as subtle as making you stop for one second.
After all, the start that inspired this had a purpose. Here are words that we read, inspire feelings (Creepy. This is the Butterfly Effect, part of the Chaos Theory, and a movie called "Chaos Theory"'s review just popped on tv. O.o'
Everything always has a purpose.
It's impossible to argue otherwise.

More so recently than usual. O.o
Or I've felt it, anyway. Goes away usually.
Gets in the way.
